Changing our eating habits for life is the only real way to become the fit girl we all desire to be. It is true, however, that what we eat has a major role in weight loss.

I like to think of it as changing the tapes. If you are old enough to know what cassette tapes are, then you remember how popular it was for people to record a mix of their favorite songs. When they got tired of those songs, they could just record over them and make a new mix of songs. It舗s the same principle when it comes to our minds replaying our beliefs about food. We may believe things about food that are destructive and, thus, live under the power of food. But remember, we can always record over those thoughts.

Some abuse food, drugs, or alcohol or become addicted to work, hobbies, or unhealthy relationships. It might be hard to believe, but some folks can even abuse exercise to an addictive level. Let me tell you something. The hole that is formed inside of us is not shaped like an ice-cream cone, a vodka bottle, a cigarette, or a good-looking guy.
